Holiday Health and Wellness List 2024

It’s that time of the year again! That means my annual gift-giving guide.

Sharing a collection of health and wellness items that make great gifts for the special person on your list. You may be surprised at some of the items, but they fall under wellness: introducing cleaner candles, wellness treatments to raise serotonin levels (yoga or massage), and more. Enjoy and happy shopping!

EXERCISE

Here are ways to travel with equipment and add something new to your repertoire!

Use for home or travel. A great way to change up your fitness routine..

I love using my X Bands along with weights!

What a great idea to encourage someone to grow their own veggies!

Gift them with body work sessions to help them move better.

Everyone should try reflexology! Pam has practiced Reflexology for over 30 years, and specialized in Myofascial Release therapy for over 20 years.

Improve your range of movement with a chiropractic session and massage.

7. Check out these Yoga studios’ schedules and join a class with your gift recipient.

Sweat it out while breathing through Yoga poses.

Join a fun Yoga class for any level.

Self-Care

A self-care service like a mani/pedi or massage is always a refreshing option that allows you to sit back & relax!

What I like about them is their non-toxic, fume-free, and jet-free selection of nail products. They have locations in SC and NC.

9. For a great spa experience, gift them a scalp massage or a facial!

Feel refreshed with any of their offers including facials, massages, and waxing.

Scalp massges are very on trend at the moment. It’s a must-try.

Massagenetics offers a totally different type of facial. I recommend trying lymphatic drainage and cupping for the face.

Clean Gifts:

While you may be familiar with some of these, the below items utilize less harsh chemicals and more organic ingredients.

10. These wonderful candle companies are local and I love them!

Red Gate Products are always changing with the seasons!

Mordern Forestry gives 30% off for returning the used glass the candles are burned in. They are in the lobby of the Grand Bohemian for the month of December.

11. Oils, body scrubs, lotions, and natural facial and body products.

Great products for your skin like beef tallow. Yes.. Beef Tallow! (She also has great Elderbrerry Syrup)

Everything from Lavender heel rubs (great stocking stuffer) to Bath salts to Lavender cream ( great to rub on your body for a restful night's sleep.

I try to stay local but I found this at a Farmer's market and love it! They ship and offer some other great products.

The peach scent is my favorite - Lotion/Body Wash

I’m a big fan of their bath salts but they also have a lot of new products like pain relief lotions and balms.

Food gifts

12. Wellness baskets! I made a care package of SC local foods for a friend in CA. It was fun to create and the recipient LOVED it!

Include some fruits, nuts, healthy snacks and healthy foods. Check out my Instagram or shoot me a message for ideas and personal recommendations.

The Landrum Farmer’s Market, Bellew's Market, Belue's Market, and Spartanburg Farmer's Market are great places to find local goods to fill your gift basket. Also, some grocery stores like Publix and Lowe's Foods carry locally-made products.

OTHER GIFTS:

13. Puzzles, Games, and Coloring Books

Stimulate your mind with games and puzzles. Coloring / Paint by Number/ Word Search are trending as beneficial methods of mindless mental stimulation. SHOP HERE.

Coloring books, painting or word search are not just for kids! These can be a relaxing distraction from a tough day. And if you are relaxing, then your cortisol levels are declining!

And while you are at Barnes and Noble browse the cookbook section for a fun new cookbook.

14. Get creative and bond over cooking classes!

They have a wide variety of cookware kitchen tools, barware, serving ware, and appliances. They also offer a lot of cooking classes which I’m a fan of.

Front Yard Foods offers fun and engaging sourdough bread classes.

Aside from offering an array of local produce, they also have cooking classes like Salve Making and Pressure Canning you can sign-up to.

I just discovered we have a company making cast iron right here in SC! Cooking with cast iron is much better than cooking than nonstick!

I have something similar to this and it's wonderful! I bought it from Relax the Back. Their Greenville store is located in Woodruff Drive.

This handheld massage gun is also highly recommended.

Gifting a sauna may be kinda tough, so the next best thing is a sauna blanket! Disclaimer: I have never used a sauna blanket but know people that do.

I LOVE these socks! They really do work for leg fatigue.

20. Reusable Water Bottle

No one should be drinking from a plastic water bottle! There are so many to choose from now. I rotate between a couple different ones just to let the bottle dry out and prevent any type of mold or mildew building up!

22. Undereye Patches

23. Facial Tools

Gua sha, ice rollers, jade eye mask thedetoxmarket.com, bluemercury.com

24. Foam Rollers

There are great for loosening up those tight muscles or avoiding soreness. Shop at lululemon.com. dickssportinggoods.com, or Target.

And if you ever have questions, PLEASE reach out to me!! I am always happy to help.

Merry Christmas!
Sherry
